Start the new year with a conversation about Lund Innovation District
Lund Innovation District is a global innovation ecosystem that brings together world-class research, entrepreneurship and collaboration within walking distance. It is a place of innovation and creativity, with a playful spirit that fosters experimentation and growth.
The topic of the day is the central part of Lund Innovation District, and Elisabet Johnson will tell you more about “Plans made over 20 years for the centre of Lund ID”. In addition, the survey on the Lund Innovation District, conducted during the autumn, will be presented and Pia Kinhult will lead discussions on, among other things, the entrepreneurial window of opportunity and the Barcelona model for the development of an Innovation District D and how it can inspire an action model for Lund.

How does Lund work with its innovation district? Lund University and Lund Municipality have commissioned Future by Lund and partners to catalyze the work to co-create Lund as an international innovation district. The work is done, among other things, to enable us in Lund to increase our capacity to solve complex and shared challenges. The work is based on a steering group consisting of Anders Almgren, Chairman of Lund Municipal Board, Pia Kinhult, ESS and Kristina Eneroth, Vice Rector at Lund University.
