Members and partners gathered at Future by Lund for a breakfast meeting focused on the future of communication solutions, accessibility, and innovation. Our new members, T-meeting, together with their subsidiary EaseAccess24, presented the technology they have developed to foster accessibility and inclusion through digital services. Anders Trana from Future by Lund provided an update on Digital Arena Sweden, a national test center for 5G, 6G, and AI with testbeds in several locations, including Lund. The meeting highlighted new opportunities for collaboration and cross-pollination between the various stakeholders.

At the Future by Lund member breakfast, our new members T-meeting shared examples of how they work to develop their own technology to create accessibility and inclusion through digital services. For over 25 years, T-Meeting has worked to improve people's everyday lives through solutions that enable the deaf, hearing-impaired, people with speech difficulties, and other groups with communication challenges to communicate independently.

"It is important for us to create the opportunity for many to understand that communication is everything," says Max Tairi, CEO of T-meeting. "The stakeholders we have met today have all seen the need for our products, not only for the group we primarily target but also in a broader context. Together with Future by Lund, we can create new opportunities!"

This laid the foundation for discussions on digitalization, accessibility, and talent and technology development.

"This meeting clearly shows how important it is for members and other stakeholders to meet," says Future by Lund's Chairman of the Board, Pia Kinhult, ESS. "It is a great way to highlight a member and their solutions, which leads to interesting discussions among the members. It shows what the innovation platform Future by Lund is for – to create cross-connections between different deep specializations."

During the meeting, Anders Trana from Future by Lund also provided information about Digital Arena Sweden, a national test center for 5G, 6G, and AI. The goal of Digital Arena Sweden is to strengthen Sweden's innovation and competitiveness by giving Swedish companies a major technological head start and shortening the path from innovation to finished solution.

The testbeds will offer the opportunity to test services early on upcoming mobile infrastructure. This promotes innovation for the industry and is done to ensure Sweden's position as a leader in telecommunications. The open testbeds located in Lund make the area an attractive location both nationally and internationally.

Future by Lund/Lund University is the project manager for Digital Arena Sweden, which is led in collaboration with Telia, Ericsson, and RISE/AstaZero.
