Storkriket Biosphere Reserve
The Storbiosphere candidacy is an opportunity for existential place-making. There are currently over 700 UNESCO biospheres in just over 130 countries around the world. Seven of them are located in Sweden, and if Stor, within the municipalities of Lund, Sjöbo and Eslöv, there may be eight candidates. The Grand Cricket is unique because it has integrated the cultural dimension into the candidacy. The StorBiosphere Reserve means the development of an innovation ecosystem and an innovation portfolio where cultural entrepreneurship in collaboration between higher education institutions, companies, society, artists and entrepreneurs can give birth to new initiatives and development projects. The portfolio supports the development of the work with the StorBiosphere Reserve.
