Travalytic's journey has begun!
It was during the early fall of 2024 that Backtick Technologies and Trivecteur Trafic He told me about his work with the software Travalytics, including in Future by Lund's Articles. During the autumn, the solution was tested with some employees at Tetra Pak, Lund Municipality, Lund University and Trivector. Now is the time for launch.
“Working with employee travel is a visible and tangible way for companies to channel their commitment to sustainability. Travalytics is designed to help companies work data-driven with the issue,” said Anna Stankovski Clark, project manager for Travalytics in the press release.
Travalytics is a software that collects and analyzes data on employee travel to and from work. The technology is based on Trivetor Traffic's many years of experience in collecting travel data and supporting businesses in the transition towards sustainable transport, together with Backtick Technologies, which contributes expertise in software development and AI.
Travalytics adapts data collection to the unique needs of each company. Employees will receive a download link to the Travalytics app, and after two minutes it will be up and running. After that, it works in the background.
“Through advanced algorithms, we identify commuting journeys, means of travel and distance without having to ask the individual for these details. It's easy for the user and provides important insights for the company,” said Michal Stypa, tech lead at Travalytics in the press release.
The results include GDPR-secured reports with insights into CO₂ emissions, saved sick days thanks to active commuting and information on employees' travel patterns.
