The LIEPT model draws attention from the OECD

OPSI - Observatory of Public Sector Innovation — is part of the OECD and is behind, for example, a model for managing and understanding multifaceted innovation processes, which is used within Future by Lund. In OPSI's latest newsletter, they present Future by Lund's work with the Liept model (Lund Innovation Ecosystem Portfolio Tracking). The newsletter states: “When implementing mission-oriented approaches, it is important to establish a systematic method for initiating and tracking collaborative development processes over time and to inform investment decisions in multi-stakeholder environments. (...) The model benefits partnering stakeholders by building strategic competence for scaling solutions and working with innovation portfolios as an approach for governing and developing the ecosystem's priority areas.”
The model is presented in the OECD's library of case studies, which states: “Through LIEPT, FBL and partnering stakeholders have a more transparent and efficient approach for governance. Lund's approach to portfolio tracking has been presented to other innovation ecosystems across Europe and will be piloted in other contexts over the coming year.”
The model has been developed by Future by Lund in collaboration with Lund University's collaboration department through Emily Wise, Charlotte Lorentz Hjorth, Martin Stankovski and Farhad Abbas Pour Khotbehsara.
